Welcome to my new experiment in modern living. This is the first entry to what I hope to be a year long process in which I try to make an extra $800 a month so I can afford my apartment. I am sure you have lots of questions about why I am doing this and I hopefully I can explain it in clear detail.
I am a recently "reluctantly singled" individual. I know there is a better word to describe my status but I prefer not to use the "d*mped" word. It has been a pretty amicable process or at least I am trying to make it that way. Unfortunately, this situation has left me with two beautiful kittens and an apartment I can't afford. I spent sometime looking for a new place but, oddly enough, November is not a prime apartment looking month. Even when I found places that were adequate, there were always some obstacle I couldn't overcome (ie. no pets allowed, deposit made already.) So, I decided I would just tough it out and continue to live in my current apartment. Why not get a roommate? I have consider that and I am not completely against the idea but I would need to find someone the cats would like and I kinda want to try to live on my own for awhile. So hence, the experiment. I figure that I need to make an additional $800 to keep living in my place. I also figure that I can also do that doing odds and ends on the weekends. And, and I also figure it would be fun to try and I could chronicle it in blog from for the hoi polloi.
So, if you have a suggestion on something I can do, send it my way. (Something legal... if you the first thing you thought of was prostitution, you are in the mass majority.) It my hope to do some crazy things and learn a little something a long the way. I also hope to improve my writing skills with this, I know there will tons of typos along the way. So, if see something wrong, kindly correct me. I'm here to learn. I think my first adventure will be in bodily fluid donation. They still pay you for plasma, right?
